HOT TOPIC: Club membership - why it is so important?
Do you own an R/C car?
Have you ever had the car shoot off out of control?
Have you ever had a near miss with someone on a bike, or walking past - perhaps, was it a little kid ?
Consider the implications of a 1.8 Kg car hitting a person at 70+Kph...not nice.....the legal implications are possibly even worse...
This is just but one reason why it is important to be a financial club member and hence be covered by the club's public liability insurance.
Ongoing yearly costs to the club are for example, council rates, electricity,public liability insurance, p.o.box , website hosting , equipment maintenance, the list goes on.
Therefore, it is so very important for us to be financial members of the club.
Yearly membership as it stands is $30 for adults - not a high price to pay .
This is very important for the survival of our club and for you guys to come and learn a bit about these cars, improve your skills, meet new people and most of all have F U N.
